Happy Monday. If, like me, you stayed up to watch New Zealand v. Australia, you know that this gent had a hell of a first ever start:

Caleb Clarke, who came off the bench for the final 20 minutes last weekend, was a standout performer in Bledisloe 2. With the series now headed to Sydney and then Brisbane (matches will resume after the AB’s complete a two week collective quarantine), Australia are in position to potentially take the Bledisloe for the first time since 2002.

Earlier in the day, the Scotland international 10 and 15 shared a couple of cans after their European Champions Cup Final.

Finn Russell of French club Racing 92 and Stuart Hogg of England’s Exeter Chiefs competed for Europe’s top honors Saturday afternoon in the penultimate European final. This Saturday (10/24), Hogg and the Chiefs play against the London Wasps in the Gallagher Premiership Final. After that, all European leagues will have finished their 2019-2020 seasons.

Also in Europe this weekend: the return of the 2020 Six Nations. Ireland has two matches to make up, starting with Italy this Saturday. The day before, Scotland warms-up with a rare test against Georgia (who will get a shot at a few of the big dogs in the Autumn Nations Cup). A few hours after Ireland v. Italy, France and Wales will recreate their 2019 Rugby World Cup quarter-final match as a warm-up for their own Six Nations matches the following weekend.
