We had over 100 people attend our Friday night Classics Induction of Craig Hammerberg, and what looked like an even larger crowd enjoying burgers, cornhole, sunshine, and competitive rugby pitch-side on Saturday.
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did. I am also pleased to report that the event was run nearly perfectly at-cost—maximizing our gift to Kate Hammerberg and incurring no costs to the organization or club.

The match on Saturday saw the undergrads scrape a draw near the death: 38-all at full-time. The undergrads named Elliott “Badger” Franklin best back and Jeff “Tooth” Robbin best forward—well played, gents. The pack put in all the hard work for the undergrads and so two best forward awards were doled out to their side.
After the game, folks socialized at the field, in the backyard at the undergrads’ house, and later at Lost & Found. The board could not be more grateful to everyone who contributed to an incredible weekend—and we truly look forward to doing it again soon.
